Goverlan, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. Goverlan, Inc. only has access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.

Unless you ask us not to by opting out, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

The Customer is hereby notified that the Goverlan Software may collect certain information from the Customer and transmit such information back to Goverlan. Such information may include, statistics relating to how often the Software is started, the duration of use of the Software, and performance metrics relating to the Software.

In addition, Customer is hereby notified that the Software requires a registration process whereby machine specific identifiers (that have been encrypted) and the username and/or email address for the user are transmitted to the Goverlan Licensing Server. The Software may make connections to Goverlan servers to verify license validity, and may transmit any information required to allow the customer to self-manage the Software through the portal.

By using the Software, Customer consents to the collection of such information by the Software, the transmission of such information to Goverlan, and the use of such information by Goverlan for any purpose without restriction.

What information is transferred outside of my company

Miscellaneous product and license information

Product ID, Product version, Licensing format

Note that the host unique identifier includes confidential information. This information is provided to facilitate the management of license usage (see Viewing and Managing License Usage).

However if your security compliance policy forbids the transfer of company confidential information you can set a policy on your network to prevent real identities from being used, in which case the host ID will be an information-less unique identifier. See: License Services Global Policies.
