On ‘many’ occassions our laptops show up with an incorrect IP Address in Goverlan. Goverlan queries our DNS server using the computer name and it returns an IP Address which is wrong. The is tied to the laptop being connected on both wireless and ethernet. The DNS server can sometimes be updated with correct info by executing an “ipconfig /registerdns” command on the laptop. I’m wondering if it would be helpful if the Goverlan policies on the Goverlan server had an option to set a policy for the Goverlan agent that executes that “ipconfig /registerdns” command at a set interval, such as you could set the policy to tell the agent to register with dns again 15 minutes after startup, or every 12 hours, etc.
