Tutorial

1. If you have never created a Scope Action before, please refer to the below video and Scope Action Creation Basics article for more information.

2. Click on Add/Remove. Then Execute Action > File and Directory Actions > Transfer a file.

3. You will now be at the Set Arguments: Transfer a File window. We will select the following for each:

Source File Local Path: C:\Google.url
Destination File Local Path: %CSIDL_COMMON_DESKTOPDIRECTORY%\Google.url

Note:

When selecting your Destination File Local Path, you must add the entire file name at the end of the path as shown above.

Overwrite Existing File: True

Click OK after selecting the above. Then OK again after confirming your selection under the Execute Actions section.

You will then be taken back to the Action Modules window where you will see the created Action Module, Click Next.

4. Finally you will come upon the What Next window, select your own preferences for scheduling, report format and if you want to select specific credentials you can via the Configure Default Scheduled Execution Settings button. Click Finish once you have completed your preferences.

In this case we selected Run Now, so the Scope Action immediately ran after clicking the finish button and opened the report confirming the results of the Scope Action as shown below.
