How to install, update or uninstall the Goverlan Agents on one or more machines

This article describes the procedures to follow to install, update or uninstall the Goverlan Agents on one or more remote machines.

Information:

Managing the Goverlan Agents on a Set of Machines

You can use the Goverlan Management Console Scope Actions to install, update or un-install Goverlan Agents on a set of machines. This allows you to pre-install the agents or to quickly apply an update to your machines.
Create a new Scope Action
Select the machine’s scope using Computer as the target type
Under Action, select Add/Remove>>Execute>>Goverlan Agents>>[Install / Update Agents or Un-install Agents]
Save and execute the scope action

Removing the Goverlan Agents on a Set of Stand-Alone Machines

If you want to un-install the Goverlan Agents on a set of machines which do not belong to a domain, you will not be able to do this using a Scope Action.

To remove the client agents on stand-alone machines, open the Goverlan Management Console and select: Help >> Add/Remove Client Agents from the main menu. Enter the list of stand-alone machines by name or IP address then click on the Remove Agents button.

Note: If you cannot open the Goverlan Management Console because the trial license has expired, follow the instructions here.
